Just finished our tour send-off concert in Miami at Corpus Christi, a parish serving the incredibly poor Latin-American immigrant community of Allapatah. It was truly amazing to perform this music (Ramirez's Missa Criolla, Bermudez's Padre Nuestro) for people who speak only Spanish.
Nice to be in front of an enthusiastic home crowd before going away for a few days. We're on a plane for New York tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. It's going to be a long day, with a plane flight, a concert, and then a 2 hour drive to New Haven afterward, so I need to get some sleep so I wake up in time to catch the cab to the airport.
